South Elm Urban Market Opens Downtown

Every Sunday, starting May 6, 2012

Noon to 5:00 pm

336 South Elm Street (across from The Green Bean)

Greensboro, NC

The South Elm Urban Market opens on Sunday, May 6 at 12:00 noon at 336 South Elm Street (directly across Elm from The Green Bean). In fact, it will now be open every Sunday from 12:00 - 5:00pm to offer you farm-fresh produce and locally-produced goods!

Not in competition with the Farmer's Curb Market on Yanceyville Street (which is open on Saturdays from 6:00am to 12:00 noon and on Wednesdays from 7:00am to 1:00pm in May through December), this new open-air market will feature many of the same vendors. The South Elm Urban Market will have favorite vendors such as Massey Creek Farms, Ingold Farm, Foust Family Farm, Donniesbrook Farm, Schoolhouse Farms, Flora Ridge Farm, the Goat Lady Dairy, Cheesecakes by Alex, Moon Hut Produce, Providence Preserves, Farm to Ladle Soups, Cakeocity, Thai Pan, Seersucker Chef, the Arc of Greensboro--and many more!

There are many treats in store each week. May 20 is I Scream, You Scream day (may involve dairy products), and May 27 is Bike Downtown Day. Stay tuned for June!
